🔥 Board Spotlight: Will – Tech Dad & Secretary Who Keeps Us Connected
Tech Dad. Board Secretary. Quiet powerhouse. And one of the first people to stand behind this mission before it even had a name.
Let’s be real—nonprofit titles are a little funny. “Secretary” doesn’t exactly capture what Will actually does. He’s the guy behind the emails, the website, the blog you’re reading right now, and the reason our tech doesn’t crash every time we post something fire-worthy. But more than that—he believed in this work before it was work.
Will has been standing in the background, making sure the foundation is solid while the rest of us light things up. He’s the one who asked, “How can I help?” before anyone else knew we needed help. And he’s still here—answering texts, debugging code, and sitting through nonprofit meetings that could honestly be emails.
But it’s not just tech.
It’s trust.
It’s loyalty.
It’s showing up again and again for justice—even when it’s messy, underfunded, and just starting out.
We asked Will why he stays in it.
His answer? “Because I want to raise kids in a world where this kind of work doesn’t have to exist.”
And honestly—same.
So here’s to Will. For being a Board Secretary who doesn’t just take notes—but helps build the structure we’re standing on. For being the tech brain behind a grassroots movement. For holding space, solving problems, and refusing to look away.
We’re new. We’re learning. But we’re doing it.

Titles may be funny. But our mission? Dead serious.
